Arthur Walter Siemens

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Arthur (Art) Walter Siemens, on October 7th at 1:00 pm. Art passed peacefully with his wife Fran by his side. Art struggled with Parkinson’s and most recently cancer.

Art was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Art was born November 6th 1932 in a small town that was located in southern Alberta called Crowfoot to Peter and Helena Siemens. (The town of Crowfoot no longer exists)

Art was pre-deceased by his parents Peter and Helena Siemens, three older brothers Victor, Alfred (Lilly), and Peter, three sisters, Helen (Alfred Joyce) Mary (Cornelius’s Wittenberg) Agnus (Jake Unrau).

Left to mourn is his youngest sister Louise(Al Story), his wife of 38 years Veronica (Fran), four step children; Dwaine(Marilyn), Kent(Jib) Deanna (Warren) and Scott, five grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews throughout Canada.

Art will be laid to rest October 15, 2024 at Kelowna Memorial Park at 10:00 am, Service to follow at Christ Lutheran Church (2091 Gordon Drive) at 11:00 am.
