Taylor Kyle Martin was born September 13, 1989 and passed unexpectedly on June 19,2022.
Taylor was known for his nomadic lifestyle and good time spirit. He spent most of his adult life
residing in California where he worked in maintenance at a world renowned resort. Taylor also managed
several private properties and effortlessly moved from place to place. Later in life, he worked as a
commercial fisherman and enjoyed it tremendously, it was hard work and Taylor was a hard worker.
He came from a large blended family of seven children, his family was the most valued part of his
life. Being the oldest, Taylor was very protective and loyal to the people in his life. His kind disposition
and his sweet, trusting nature followed him all of his days. Around the age of fifteen, Taylor quickly
learned the acoustic guitar. He was always singing, playing music or telling you what to add to your
playlist.
Taylor or as we like to call funcle (fun uncle) had a special relationship with his niece and
nephews. Although he didn’t have children of his own you would never know because he was so great
with the babies. He will be so missed because there’s not and never will be another Taylor.
Taylor is survived by his mother, Kellye (Jeff) and his father Kyle (Jill), brother Trevor (Kendall),
sister Bree (Alec) and youngest brother Brock (currently enlisted in the Navy). Bonus siblings Lexie
(Scott), Spencer; Whitney and grandmothers Susie (Grandma) and Sue (Mimi). He is also survived by
wonderful aunts and uncles and numerous cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandmothers
Barbara and Maurine, grandfathers Max and Ray George, Uncle Brad, and cousins Torri and Coy.
A tribute for Taylor Martin will be Friday, June 24, 2022, 11:00 AM at Country Abbey, 116 N. Jackson Ave. Justin, Tx 76247
