She was born in Mount Vernon New York, october 14, 1916, the daughter of Max H. and Louise (Luckhardt) Kaeser and has resided in Marlborough for over fifty years.
Mrs. Forcier graduated from Westfield State Teachers College. During World War II she taught in E. Swanzey and after moving to Marlborough taught first and second grades in the Marlborough Elementary School for over twenty years.
She was a member of the Marlborough Federated Church and the church Evening United group. She was also a member of the Friends of the Frost Free Library, Cheshire County Retired Teachers Association and New Hampshire Retired Teachers Association.
During World War II, she worked with the American Red Cross as an Aide at the Wesson Memorial Hospital in Springfield MA. She volunteered in the Scouting movement as den mother as her son joined Cub Scouts. She was also Brownie and Girl Scout leader for her daughter. During her many years living in Marlborough she gave her time helping children to read. She and her husband found much pleasure in growing their own flowers and vegetables. She felt blessed to have her grandchildren around her to enjoy and taught them many life lessons. She also loved her music listening, singing and dancing. She was an avid bird watcher. In free time she spent it reading ,sewing and traveling.
She is the widow of Cleo E. Forcier who died in 2001.
Survivors include: a son Edward C. Forcier of Nashua and his significant other Priscilla Sinclair, a daughter Louise M. Ramsay-Gates and her husband David Gates of Surry; a sister Emmy Hayes of Wilburham, MA., four grandchildren: Bryan Aiken of Marlborough, Brett Ramsay of West Chesterfield, Leigh Bohanan of Nashua and Kerri Quevillon of Richmond, Va.; ten great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.
Services for Mrs. Forcier will be held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock at the Marlborough Federated Church. Family and friends of the Federated Church are invited to attend. There are no public calling hours. The Rev. Marilyn Ayer, Minister of the church will officiate.
Burial will be held at the family lot in the Meetinghouse Cemetery later in the Spring.
