Frances G Jarvis

Frances was born in Marlborough N.H on May 31, 1924 to Ruth (Dunton) & Reginald Goodell. She attended schools in Richmond, Swanzey and graduated from Keene High School. She also attended Keene State College.

On June 29, 1942 Fran married Ralph A. Jarvis at St. Bernard's Church in Keene N.H.

Frances worked in the Monadnock and Keene school districts for many years. She was a member of the Church of Nazarene and Keene Assembly of God. In recent years she enjoyed attending the Life Journey Church in Keene. Fran's most enjoyable moments were spent with her family and friends. She also enjoyed church, bible studies, fairs, camping, jewelry and candle making, cooking, coloring and ringing her bell!!

Her survivors include - a daughter, Sally Davis of Raymond. A son, James Jarvis SR of Keene. A son, Ralph Jarvis JR & his wife Nancie of Surry. A daughter, Bonnie and Dan Russell of Swanzey. Frances has 14 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 6 great, great grandchildren and is expecting 1 great grandchild and 1 great, great grandchild in 2017.

Fran is predeased by her husband of 48 years Ralph A. Jarvis SR. A daughter, Joan (Jarvis) Gray. A brother, Mac Goodell. A sister, Mary Dorr. A granddaughter, Melissa Lussier. A son in law, William Davis.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 1st at 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Fletcher Funeral Home, 33 Marlboro Street, Keene, NH. A Church service will be held Friday, June 2nd at 11:00 am at Life Journey Church, 570 Park Avenue, Keene NH. Burial will immediately follow at Mountain View Cemetery, Old Homestead Highway, in Swanzey, NH.
