Debbie Lee Liberty

She was born in Keene on September 20, 1955, the daughter of Romie and Irene (Alexander) Underwood. Debbie graduated from Monadnock Regional High School and has lived in the area her entire life.

She worked at the Keene Vocational Rehabilitation Center for many years until illness forced her to retire.

Debbie enjoyed nature, butterflies, crafts of all kinds, being near water and country living. She also enjoyed photography and collecting angels. She especially loved her three grandchildren, Sage, Merrill and Dayvon.

She is survived by her two daughters Tonya Liberty of Winchester and Tabitha Liberty of Keene; her mother Irene Underwood of Keene; her sister Sheila Brown, and husband George, of Raymond; her three grandchildren; lifelong friend Carolyn Bosely of Keene; former spouse Kevin Liberty; her Maltese dog, Angel; and many nieces and nephews. Debbie’s beloved father Romi Underwood died earlier.

Services for Debbie will be held on Friday, June 6, 2012, 10:00 AM at Monadnock Covenant Church, 90 Base Hill Road, Keene, NH. Burial will follow at the family lot at Mountain View Cemetery in Swanzey. Calling Hours will be held the evening before from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Fletcher Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 33 Marlboro St., Keene, NH.
