She was born on August 30, 1929 and graduated from Roosevelt High School. She was later married to Bruce Phillips on December 30,1948.
Muriel is predeceased by her husband Bruce and son Ralph (Mary) Phillips. She is survived by her daughters Carolyn Petherbridge, Ann Wilssens, Kathy (Claudio) Docekal, Nancy (Bruce) Hovde, Susan (Mike) Denihan; her sons Bill, David, and Paul (Sam) Phillips; her grandchildren Patrick, Melisa, Stacy, Michael, Tim, Alexander, Cory, Eric, Brandi, John, Brian, Mindi, Lara, Jennifer, Nicole, Caley, and Jenna; and many loving great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held for Muriel on Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm with a funeral service beginning at 3:00 pm at Family Funeral Care in Keego Harbor.
