Louis Hernandez

Beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, Louis Hernandez, age 49, of Brooklyn, NY peacefully passed at Methodist Hospital, Katy, TX on the morning of Saturday, February 28, 2015 as Lourdes held his hand. He is survived by his wife of nearly 25 years, Lourdes Hernandez, son Jonathan Louis, and daughter Justine Rose, his mother Belkis Hernandez, and his sisters Sonia, Dorcas and Lois, who loved him dearly. Louis leaves a legacy of love and integrity with his family and those who knew him. He has left behind wonderful memories of a loving husband, father, brother, son, uncle and friend. We are grateful for each and every day we got to see his never ending smile and the lessons learned and all the jokes we shared. Louis had a zest for life, a great love of people and a heart that never stopped giving. He always had a kind word and a big smile for everyone around him. He was a true New Yorker who loved Rock music and he also loved Country. My dearest Louis, I thank you for the love we shared to the end. One or the other must leave, one or the other must stay, that is the vow that was sworn, and faithful 'til death do us part. I find peace knowing that you will live on in my heart and our children's. Until we meet again my love.
