Keith Derrell Slaughter

Mr. Slaughter was born April 9, 1953 in Brownfield, Texas, to Claude Cecil Slaughter and Inez Gladys Welcher. Keith graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, and Southwest Texas State University with a Master’s Degree in Health Professions. Keith served as Chief Operating Officer of a local hospital in Melbourne, Florida, as well as Director of Pharmacy for Clear Lake Regional Hospital in Clear Lake, Texas, and Seton Hospital in Austin.

Mr. Keith Slaughter was preceded in death by his parents Claude Cecil Slaughter and Inez Gladys Welcher. He leaves behind his loving wife of 38 years, Karin Slaughter of Fulshear, Texas; daughter, Kaitlin Bordelon, son in law, Thomas Bordelon, and granddaughter Cambridge Bordelon of Friendswood, Texas; son, Kevin Slaughter of New Orleans, Louisiana; and sister, Kathy Bevel of Angleton, Texas.

Keith was a beloved man and honorable husband, father, friend and co-worker, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

The Slaughter family would like to give special thanks to Memorial Hermann Hospital Katy, and staff who took great care of him in his final days of life.
