Kathleen Louise Sherrod

Kathie was born on December 13, 1948, in Cleveland, Ohio to Nancy Marquette and Paul Steven Gill Sr.

Kathie is survived by her husband of 41 years, Jack Sherrod, her children Richard Fuller and spouse Dawn, Russell Fuller and spouse Christy, James Sherrod and spouse Leigh and Jebediah Sherrod and spouse Crystal, as well as her siblings Gloria Gill, Paulette Adamany, Pamela Gill, Lucia Gill and Paul Gill Jr, and her many beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Kathie was preceded in death by her mother and father Nancy Marquette and Paul Steven Gill Sr, her late husband Raymond James Fuller and her son Raymond James Fuller II.

Her children will remember her as a sweet, loving, compassionate, selfless, stubborn, persistent and extremely caring woman. She was quick to help them when they needed her to and always made them a priority over all other things. She taught them compassion and to care for others as she had cared for them. Kathie instilled in us all unconditional love and knew how to love each child individually among their many different interests and life goals. She always encouraged her children to be the best versions of themselves.

Kathie was extremely passionate about her family, and loved cooking. No one ever left her home hungry or empty handed. Her love and generosity would fill any room that she was in. Her hobbies included art, plants, swimming and daydreaming about sightseeing in other countries. She longed to visit Italy, Ireland, and many other beautiful places. Her most precious and cherished memories were spending time with friends and family.

Kathie was a woman of many titles; wife, sister, aunt, mother, nana and friend. To most of us, she was Mom. Her kindhearted spirit was motherly and warming to all those that knew her.

She will forever be loved and missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

A celebration of her life will be planned at a later date.
