Diane Marie Deaton

CROSBY - Diane Deaton, 68, of Crosby, TX, passed peacefully on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 following a courageous 9 year battle with cancer. She was daughter of the late Ronald & Dorothy Jenkins. She was born in Waltham, MA

Ms. Deaton had a rewarding career as a procurement manager with the city of Houston until her retirement in 2004. She was the matriarch of her family and her home was the heart of many family gatherings. She enjoyed rescuing animals and spending time with her family. Diane will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

Diane is survived by her step mother Mickey Mateo, her son Patrick Deaton along with his wife Margie; her sisters Helen Martel and Terri Lynn Favata, her brother Ronald F. Jenkins, Jr., her three grandchildren Rachel, Daniel and Paul Deaton, her great granddaughter Lily Deaton and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 from 12:00-2:00 P.M.
