David “Dave” Charles Jaeger completed his earthly journey and joined his Lord and Savior on October 10, 2024. Born on February 17, 1966 in Lakeview Hospital in Wauwatosa, WI, to Robert and Eleanor Jaeger. Dave had lived in Katy, TX with his loving wife Grace since 2010.
Dave grew up in Franklin, WI and graduated from Franklin High School in 1984. A few years later Dave moved out to California where he began his long career in the waste management industry, working his way up from a laborer to a general manager and holding a variety of challenging jobs along the way. Dave relocated for work, first to Durango, Colorado before finally settling in the Houston area. While in California he met his future wife, Grace Paulino, and they married in 2006.
Dave was well known for his outgoing personality. He had a great interest in a number of subjects, including history, world events, fishing & hunting, and a love for all music. He was also a self-proclaimed Green Bay Packers “cheesehead” and a Harley Davidson enthusiast who enjoyed going on rides with his friends. One of Dave’s goals was to visit all 50 states, which he achieved in 2021 in Alaska as his last.
Along with his wife, Grace, Dave is survived by his mother Eleanor; sisters Margie Dobson and Janet Jaeger; daughters, Kassondra Masingale Snoke and Jennifer Ayers Jaeger; uncle Jerry Kruszka; aunt Mary Jaeger; granddaughter McKenzie Masingale Snoke; son-in-law Andy Snoke; brother-in-law Doug Dobson; and extended family including Joe and Adriana Paulino, Connie and Nelio Barcelos, John and Maria Paulino, Marie and Ernie Moules, Paul and Zelia Paulino, and several loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert “Bob” Jaeger; grandparents Dolores “Peggy” and Albert Jaeger, and Valeria and Mack Kruszka; and aunt Sister Valerie Sepinski.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation in his memory to Tunnels to Towers, Wounded Warriors, or Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund.
Mass service will be held on Thursday, October 17th at Katy Funeral Home, 23350 Kingsland Blvd, Katy, TX from 10 – 11:30 am. Immediately following the service, a Celebration of Life will be held at Mo’s Irish Pub, 23511 Katy Freeway.
