William L. Poteete

Born on February 12, 1929 in Byhalia, Mississippi, he was the beloved son of Aven Givhan Gooch, Sr. and Vivian Walker. William is survived by his daughter, Kathryn Anne Poteete, sister-in-law, Jeanne Gooch, and his brother-in law, Jim (Sue) Orosco, as well as several cherished nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog, Freddy. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Elisa, his half-brother, Aven Givhan Gooch, Jr., and his half-sister, Peggy Blanz.
