Virginia May Nichols Eatwell, 82 of Prairie Village, KS passed away March 8, 2015. Funeral Services will be at 11:00am Thursday March 12, 2015 at the Mount Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO. Burial will be in Mount Moriah Cemetery. Virginia was born May 21,1932 in Linn, MO to Flossie Mary Ann (Fincher) and Estel J Nichols. She moved to Kansas City as a young woman and worked for the Kansas City Board of Trade in the Marketing department until her retirement in 2000. She was a member of the Diplomats Social Club where she met many dear friends, including her husband of 15 years, Al Eatwell. Favorite pastimes throughout her life included dancing, boating, theatre and spending time with friends, some of which she has known for more than 50 years. Ginny had a generous heart, a beautiful smile and a wonderful sense of humor and will be truly missed by her family and friends she loved so much. She was preceded in death by her son Nicky Clay. Survivors included her husband of 15 years, Al Eatwell; son Scott Price; Daughters in law Brenda Price and Kathy Clay; Granddaughter Calli Price and Grandson Sterling Clay. Along with 3 Stepdaughters Denise (Larry) Campbell, Diane (Ken) Williams and Debbie Harris; 5 Step Grandchildren Tyler (Kristen) Campbell, Chelsey Campbell, Austin Harris, Nicole Harris, Katie Williams and 1 Step Great Grandson, Calvin Campbell. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Community Hospice, 9720 West 87 St. Overland Park, KS 66212.
