Visitation will be held from 6:00pm – 9:00pm, Wednesday, September 27th at McGilley Memorial Chapel, 12301 State Line Rd Kansas City MO 64145. Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00pm Thursday, September 28th at the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection, Student Center Building C, 135th & Roe Avenue. Family requests bright festive casual attire be worn.

There truly are not enough words or time to describe this beautiful, intelligent, courageous and spirited woman, so we will let her sum it up for you; “You have to put everything in perspective. Things don’t matter much, it’s the people in your life. It’s the love that you share. That’s the most important.” – Verda.

Verda was born January 12th, 1970 in Meade, KS and was preceded in death by her parents Edwin and Esther Ratzlaff. She is survived by her husband of 22 years, John; daughters Abigail, 18 and Lydia, 15; sisters, Wilda Wagner, Cheryl Goertzen and Twila Loewen.
