Tyrone was preceded in death by his grand-parents Earl and Gertrude Gillum and his father Arthur Bentley.
He was educated in the Kansas City, Missouri school district and graduated from Central High School in 1975.
He dressed well and had exquisite taste. Tye enjoyed decorating Christmas trees and his packages were works of art. His cooking skills were outstanding and he set a beautiful table.
September 20, 1997, Tye met Greg Hill and fell in love, they were legally married September 22, 2017. They had wonderful travels together throughout their 24 years together and created lifelong memories only their love could create. They had great times and an amazing love.
Tye received his wings June 7th, 2022.
He leaves to cherish his memory his best friend and life partner, Greg Hill, his mother Earline Bentley; sisters Kim White Washington (Dennis) , Robin Bentley and Trilby Gillum and other family and friends.
A celebration of life for Tyrone will be held Friday, June 24, 2022 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer and Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO 64131.
Repast will be held 3 p.m. at 3609 College Ave. Kansas City, Missouri
