Dear Doug and Sons...
Please accept my deepest sympathy in your precious wife and mom’s passing just before Christmas.
I have such fond memories from the early 70’s of being in your home, babysitting, working, and loving Sue.  She was genuine, loving, had an incredible laugh and an open heart.  She let me drive her VW Bug, gave me have a makeup lesson, taught me how lemons made everything more wonderful and how to use them as decorations on your table, and always welcomed me, and ultimately my family, into your home.  I loved that.  I only wish we could have stayed closer in these past years.  I remember how I wish I could have come to one of the boy’s wedding at the Lake.  It was an honor to be invited.
May the Lord fill every empty place in your hearts as you grieve with His peace.  Sue will forever be in my heart.

Neighbors for more than 15 yrs. Sue continually showed a smile and repeatedly brought my kids birthday presents, Christmas presents and ornaments, Easter baskets and special Halloween candy.
 Always a kind word and wanting to have an update on everyone in the family. 
Sue will be missed. Best wishes go out to Doug, the boys and their families.

Doug:  We were so very sorry to learn of Sue's death!  We have many memories of good times with you and Sue while we were still living across the street from you on 100th Street.  
There are few things in this life more painful than losing someone you love.  Please know that we are thinking of you during this time of profound sadness.  Joann & Phil Kinney

I will always remember Sue for her infectious giggle and her off the wall questions.   She was an amazing person and an even more amazing friend to all!

Sue was just 16 when. 


she got her drivers license. She loaded up her family’s only car. Not sure if Faye and Tom knew. Off she went with her friends to the hamburger place in Indep and had to park face first in a slot for customers fun time until it was time to leave and we discovered she didn’t know how to.
Back out.  Some stranger drove out for her   We laughed all the way home with Sue laughing the hardest. I wish I had a photo.  She was my best friend😎

Sue Ann Parkman-Haynes was my cousin. She was always happy and enjoyed a good story or Joke. The room would light up whenever she entered. Over the years life separated us physically but whenever we got together we would pick up from where we left off.  Sue was loved by all who knew her and will be missed by all of her friends and family
