Ron was born on June 16, 1953 in Maysville, Missouri to James Barnett and Loretta Redman. He had 4 children, he was a loving father. He was passionate about being a grandfather, bowling, trains and Halloween. He was an active and dedicated member of a bowling league at Gladstone Bowl.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Loretta; his wife, Diann; his ex-wife, Brenda; and brother, Gene.
He is survived by his children, Richard, Scott (Brandy), John (Amanda), and Elizabeth (Nathan); his 3 brothers and 2 sisters; 11 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and his cat Sammie.
Visitation will be held, Thursday September 5, 2024 at the McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 NE Vivion Rd., Kansas City, Missouri 64119 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Funeral Services are to follow at 4:00pm.
The family would like to thank the Kansas City Police Department, and the people who sat, supported and cared for him in his final moments.
