Richard "The Rock" Rader, 76, Peculiar, MO. Richard retired from Hallmark Cards after 36 years of service. He was a member of Ararat Shrine, Scottish Rites, and Swope Park Masonic Lodge.
Preceded in death by grandson, Jacob Parrish; brothers Dean and Jack Rader.
Richard is survived by his treasured wife of 60 years, Judy; son, Dennis (Lisa); daughters, Kim Standley, Cindi Trussell, Kristy Jones; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Doris Anderson, Joan Erickson, Marilyn (Charles) Sasse.
Richard was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was much loved and will be greatly missed.
Memorial visitation will take place Tuesday, October 11, 2016, at 4:00pm with a Memorial Service, 5:00pm, at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer and Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd, Kansas City, MO 64131.
Memorial Donations may be made to the Shriner's Children's Hospital, 2900 N. Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
