Rebecca Lynn Roche, 27, Kansas City, passed away Feb 8, 2016. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, Feb. 12 at 11:00 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 919 NE 96th Street, Kansas City. A visitation is planned from 9:00 – 11:00, also at the church. Private inurnment to follow.

Rebecca Lynn was born Jan. 22, 1989 in Shawnee Mission, KS to Patrick and Gwendolyn Roche. She grew up in the Northland, attended St Charles Grade School and graduated from Oak Park High School. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology at University of Illinois – Springfield and also received Bachelor of Science in Nursing from William Jewell University. She worked at the University of Kansas Hospital.

Rebecca Lynn is preceded in death by her Grandfather, Earl W. Roche; Great-Grandmother, Hazel Montgomery; Great Aunt Virginia Roche; and Uncle and God-father Timothy J. Roche.

Survivors include her parents; Patrick and Gwendolyn Roche; sisters Jillian M. Roche (boyfriend Geoffery Sloggett) and Emily A (Sean) Miller; nephew Seamus Miller and niece Teagan Miller; and her special dog, Wrigley. Also surviving are her Grandmother Alberta Roche, grandparents Lester and Marie Hash; uncle Earl W. (Mary Jo) Roche II, aunts Nancy D. Roche, Kathleen Roche, Linda (Frank) Robinson, Kim (Patrick) Rauzi; uncles Edward (Reha) Butrym and James (Kathy Byard) Lemos; God-mother Peggy Berney; and numerous cousins.
