Randall was born November 2, 1970 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Rosalina Tangonan and Royce Lord. He had a lifelong passion for cars, particularly Mustangs, and a fondness for animals.
Randall was a gentle soul with a servant's heart. His calming presence and reassuring support was unique and impactful. He shared a special connection with animals through his patient love and understanding.
Randall was preceded in death by his father, Royce, his stepdad, Tom Vanderford, and his best friend, Vance Heun. He is survived by his wife, Melody, his mother, Rosalina Tangonan, his brothers Tom (Cheryl) Vanderford and John Vanderford, his sisters Lisa (Theren) Burlison and Rebecca Richmond, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Visitation for Randall will be held Friday, November 19, 2021 from 10:30am to 12:00pm at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131. A Funeral Service will occur at 12:00pm. A Committal Service with Full Military Honors will follow at 1:00pm. The family has requested that all visitors wear face masks for the indoor portion of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Randall's name to the American Cancer Society or Wayside Waifs Animal Shelter.
