Pauletta Ann Doll (Paula), 75, formerly of Independence, MO, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024, after a short battle with lung cancer. Paula was born on March 19, 1949, in Fresno, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Bonnie Jones, two brothers, Jay Jones and Robert Jones, her husband, Richard Lance Doll (2012) and her daughter, Michelle Denise Doll Wilson (2022).
Paula was an avid Kansas City sports fan, rarely missing a Chiefs or Royals broadcast. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and other crafts as well as reading and gardening in her free time. She had tremendous pride and love for her grandchildren and their accomplishments, doing her best to attend every game, concert or academic ceremony.
Paula had a gift of making everyone she met feel cared for and loved. She was a very kind and special lady. She will be greatly missed by her son, Steven (Amy), their children, Abigail Doll and Aiden Doll, Michelle’s son, Ian Wilson, her co-workers at Red Racks Lee’s Summit and many other family and friends.
A private family graveside service will be held at D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Floral Hills, Kansas City, MO.
