Paul Engle

Paul was born on July 9, 1934 in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan to Howard and Caroline Engle. He graduated from Purcell High School and was married to Margaret “Peg” Klein on November 11, 1961. Together, they had three children, Lori, Daniel, and James. Paul enjoyed sports. He played a good game of golf, bowled, and took an active role coaching his children’s baseball and basketball teams. He also took an active role coaching his beloved Cincinnati Reds from his living room. Paul was a devoted family man. He will be missed dearly by his surviving family members: Wife, Peg Engle; children, Lori (husband Stan) Ellsworth, Daniel (wife Terri) Engle, James (wife Tina) Engle; Grandchildren, Sean (wife Harleigh), Joshua (wife Kendra), Dawson, Regan, and Ari; Great grandchildren, Wyatt and Mahon; Brothers, David and John. Paul was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Dorothy. In Lieu of flowers, the family asks memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1701 North Beauregard Street Alexandria, VA 22311.
