Patricia Lou Bailey

Pat was born in Des Moines, IA, attended Pembroke Hill School in Kansas City and graduated from the University of Kansas.

She was devout KU basketball, Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals fan, She was not to be disturbed when one of the their games was on TV. In her spare time, Pat enjoyed making cross-stitch, knitting and needlework projects for the family.

Pat was a very devoted grandmother, providing daycare for all five of her grandchildren before they started school. She was a wonderful cook and loved making meals for her entire family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald "Beetle" Bailey in December, 2020; a daughter, Jennifer; and her parents, Homer and Helen Benson. Pat is survived by two daughters, Laura (Leldon) Stockton and Valerie (Rodney) King; six grandchildren, Patrick Kueser, Jessica Kueser, Matthew Stockton, Bret (Emma) Kueser, Marissa Stockton and Christopher (Hannah) Powell.

A graveside service for Pat and her husband, Gerald "Beetle" Bailey, will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, July 24 at Mount Moriah Cemetery, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO 64131.
