Michael Howard Cameron

Mike grew up in Prairie Village, Kansas, attended Shawnee Mission East and graduated in 1965. While attending Shawnee Mission East, he met the love of his life Carol Adams, they were married in 1966. Mike was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Over the course of his life, Mike was blessed to use his many talents to serve others. As a member of Village Presbyterian Church, he served as a Sunday School teacher and lead the Mariners Group with his wife Carol. He was a soccer coach and basketball coach. Mike served on the Prairie Village City Council for Ward 1 and as a volunteer policeman. Mike also spent 5 years as Scout Master for Boy Scout Troop 91. His career spanned 45 years as a Regional Vice President of Sales with Unisys and Oracle. He was also founder and President of Innovative Security Products.

He was preceded in death by his parents Howard and Anne Cameron, his brother John Cameron, and his wife Carol Cameron.

Mike is survived by his children, Christy Baze and her husband Rick, their two children Brennan and Mackey Baze, his son Andrew Cameron, and daughter Kimberly Cameron and her husband Duane Freyberger, and their children Cole, Greta and Ella Freyberger.

A Celebration of Mike's life will be held from 4 - 6 PM Tuesday, December 21 at the family home.
