Mary Jo Preston

Mary was born on 1-8-1929 to Rodney & Lula Cox in KY. She was married to Jay F Preston & had two

children, Mike & Glenn. She was the office manager for Midwest Heating and Cooling until she retired in

2000. Her world travels took her to England, France, Italy, Switzerland and Australia. She was a member

of the Lees Summit Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son Mike (Cindy), Grandson Steve (Naomi) – Great Granddaughters Patience and

Summer, Great Grandson Joseph, and Great, Great, Granddaughter Brynnlee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, her husband Jay Preston, son Glenn Preston,

and Grandson Nick Preston.

The Family would like to Thank Friends and Family, Faith Hospice and our church families. Your love and

A visitation for Mary will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Newcomer's Floral Hills Funeral Home, 7000 BLUE RIDGE BLVD, KANSAS CITY, MO 64133. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, November 29, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Floral Hills Cemetery, 7000 BLUE RIDGE BLVD, KANSAS CITY, MO 64133. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, November 29, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 7000 BLUE RIDGE BLVD, KANSAS CITY, MO 64133.
