Mary K. McCoy (Katie), 87, passed away December 18, 2014. Katie was born March 4, 1927 in Blytheville, Arkansas the daughter of William and Edith (Hardin) Rhea. On June 17, 1944 Katie married Herbert M. McCoy. They shared 65 years of marriage together. He preceded her in death in 2009. In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Chester, Wesley, Wylie, and William; four sisters, Francis, Vera (Bea), Carrie and Thelma and two sons, Charles Forrest and Jimmy Allen McCoy. Survivors include one son Larry (Donna) McCoy, daughter Cynthia (David) Layton; seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, December 22, 2014 from 1 pm until service time at 2 pm at the Floral Hills Funeral Home. The family suggest memorial donations be made to Crossroads Hospice.
