A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in her honor at 11:00 AM, with a visitation starting at 10:30 AM, on Friday, February 19, 2021 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 900 NE Shady Lane Dr. Kansas City, MO 64118 with Fr. Don Farnan officiating. Burial will follow services in Resurrection Cemetery, Kansas City, MO. Arrangements are by McGilley Antioch Chapel Funeral Home.
Mary Ann was born in San Jose, CA to Dorothy (Brown) and Eugene Skaggs on June 15, 1945. She married Thomas B. Huntington on January 24, 1968. They shared 46 years together until his death in 2014.
She worked as a supervisor for Southwestern Bell until her retirement in 1992. Mary Ann was a longtime parishioner and proud member of St. Charles Borromeo Parish.
Mary Ann passed away peacefully in her sleep with her Grandson Patrick, Granddaughter Jenny and Grandson-in-law, Collin Devaney, by her side holding her hands.
Mary Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Dorothy Skaggs; and husband, Thomas B. Huntington.
She is survived by her daughter, Kristine Meyer, stepdaughters Sheryl Huntington and Coye Chaney; along with four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Collin Devaney, Patrick Huntington, Seth Anderson, Jacob Skaggs, Nathan Skaggs, and Ryan Malec.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Charles Borromeo Food Pantry, 704 NE Shady Lane Drive, Kansas City.
