Mrs. Marrietta Easley was born November 26, 1937 in Connerville, OK. She grew up in Seminole, OK, with her six siblings. She graduated high school and attended community college. She met her husband of 61 years, Harold, while waiting tables at Higdon's in Seminole. They were married April 25, 1957 and moved to Kansas City, MO. Chris raised her three children into their elementary years. Then she had a long work career with Western Auto, followed by State Farm Insurance, and Sam's Bargain Town. She and Harold also managed a large little league baseball umpire association for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd James and Minnie Ruth Timmons; siblings, Joyce Lackey, Bobby Timmons, and Gerald Timmons; and nieces, Sharon Rhodes and Jodi Pack.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Easley, Raytown, MO; siblings, Phil Timmons, Arlington, TX, Nell Spencer (Sid), Seminole, OK, and Latrisha Houck, Seminole, OK; children, Howard Easley (Dawn), Raytown, MO, Kenneth Easley (Roxie), Mission, KS, Debbie Dukes (Bobby), Raytown; ten grandchildren, Darel Cornelius Jr., Ashley Cornelius, Christian Middaugh, Chelsea Easley, Janelle Easley, Katherine Easley, Jenny Easley, Phill Easley, Patrick Easley, David Easley, seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 10:00-11:00 AM, July 14, 2018, at Beacon Free Will Baptist Church. Memorial Services will be held 11:00 AM, July 14, 2018, at Beacon Free Will Baptist Church, 7920 Harris St., Raytown, MO 64138, with Burial in Floral Hills Cemetery, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64133.
