Margaret Elizabeth (Klein) Rose was born on December 24th, 1928 to Frederick and Fannie Klein, and grew up in Hamburg, IA. She passed away on July 12th, 2015. She graduated salutatorian of her class from Hamburg High School. She graduated from Ottawa University, where she met Wayne Rose, whom she married on July 14, 1957. She taught in Prairie Village, KS, Red Oak, IA and Kansas City, MO. She was also an active member of First Calvary Baptist Church for over 50 years. She and her husband, Wayne, were recently honored by the Kansas City Rose Society for 25 years of service. She is survived by her husband Wayne Rose, of Kansas City, MO; her daughter, Linda Rose Belden, her son-in-law, Lance, and her grandsons, Brice Belden and Evan Belden, all of Lenexa, KS; her sisters, Evelyn Gibson of Cedar Falls, IA and Wilma Kelly of Glenwood, IA and her nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held at McGilley Midtown Chapel at 20 W. Linwood, Kansas City, MO, on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 from 5:30-8:00 pm. Services will be held on Thursday, July 16th, 2015, in at Lenexa Baptist Church, 15320 W. 87th St., Lenexa, KS at 10:00 am, with graveside services following at Longview Memorial Gardens, 12700 Raytown Road in Kansas City, MO. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Lenexa Baptist Church, the Kansas City Rose Society, or the Alzheimer's Association of Kansas City.
