Iva Louise Pearson, 95, passed away on January 24, 2018. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, February 2, 2018 at Blue Ridge Bible Church, 8524 Blue Ridge Boulevard, Kansas City, Missouri 64138. Burial will take place at Mount Moriah Cemetery South. Memorial Contributions may be made in Louise's name to Blue Ridge Bible Church.
Louise was born on January 2, 1923 in Fairview, OK. She was the daughter of James David and Daisy Z. (Stapp) Slater. She married Vernon L. Pearson on October 25, 1946. They resided in Wichita, Kansas and both worked for Beech Aircraft.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Vernon L. Pearson, her son, Jimmy L. Pearson, and sisters, Clara Miller and Maxine Tindle.
She is survived by her daughter; Beverly S. Parker and husband Richard E. Parker, three grandchildren; Adam Parker (Fran); Emily Doss (Josh); and Megan Richards (Ben), great-grandchildren; Taylor, Cooper, and Aidan Parker; Ruby Doss; and Bo, Lucy, Macy, and Nolan Richards, siblings; James Earl “Bud” Slater, Irene Astley, Lewis Slater, John Slater, and Gary Slater.
