Larry Ray Cross, 67, Independence, Missouri, passed away September 11, 2013. Visitation will be from 9:30-10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 14, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes followed by graveside services at 10:00 a.m. in Mt. Moriah Cemetery South. Mr. Cross was born December 10, 1945 in Kansas City, Missouri, son of Earl M., Sr. and Geneva (Hodges) Cross. He worked at Blue Valley Sheltered Workshop for 34 years, retiring in 2005. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brothers Earl Cross (Shary) and Jerry Cross (Pam); sister Shirley Curry (Robert); and four nieces.
