He spent his childhood in Oklahoma and was the youngest of five children. He attended Southwestern College in Waxahachie, Texas.
After college he entered the AirForce where he played trombone in the Air Force band. This allowed him to travel in the United States.
He moved to Wichita, Kansas for work and met his bride Ruth Baldridge at church. They married on April 6, 1951 and had 73 years together.
Kenneth worked in the meat industry before going into the insurance business in 1972. His jobs took him and his family to several cities before settling in Kansas CIty area. Due to their extensive travels the family's faith and churches played an important role in their lives.
Kenneth has three adult children: Debra Rogers (Dean), Deana Raby, and Kenneth Lee Raby Jr (Lucretia); Grandchildren: Bridgette Stone, Alisha Nelson (Wes), Kenneth Lee Raby III, Kristin Raby and Ashley Khadivi (Kaevon); Great grandchildren: Jacob, Ashton, Avalin, Janice, Maggie, Noah, Ellie, Oliver and Ali. Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents, siblings and great granddaughter, Anna Ruth Nelson.
The most important thing to Kenneth were his wife and children.
The meaning of Kenneth is creative, versatile, imaginative, independent, and an urge for progress.
You must relax and enjoy life.
