Kathryn M Reynolds

Kathryn M. Reynolds, 93, of Raytown, MO passed away May 17, 2018. Visitation will be at 9:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Entombment to follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Kathryn was born January 17, 1925 in Tribune, KS to John and Rosa Katzdorn. The family then moved to Colorado where Kathryn lived until she married her husband, William Reynolds. They moved to Missouri, where she stayed at home for many years to raise her 7 children. She always said that the mission in her life was to have children and raise them well. Her devotion and strong love for her family showed that she definitely accomplished her life’s mission!

Kathryn worked at Bendix for many years as a cook. She retired from there on March 27, 1992. She loved cooking, gardening, crossword puzzles, Scrabble, cards and reading. Most of all she enjoyed time with her family, especially her annual trips to Branson, MO with her children. Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents; three siblings; her husband William; two sons John and Bill; step-son Robert; and son-in-law Gary Welborn. She is survived by her children Judy Bittner and husband, Chuck; Carol Welborn; Kathryn Rogers and husband, Cliff; Thomas Reynolds and wife, Becky; Steve Reynolds and wife, Jeni; 20 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
