Thank you Choppy (Christina ) for letting me and Monchi (Kristan) call your mom Grandma Jane. Will treasure the tradition that started with you opening up your home to us and we shared Christmas Day enjoying the best cheese tamales and Monchi always said Grandma Jane made the best beans. She never forgot my mom either. Always made sure to send her some Atole.  We were blessed to meet her thru the Ortiz family and Have a lot of fond memories to hold on to. Rest In Peace Grandma Jane. We will miss you. 

My sisters and I are immensely blessed to have had “Grandma Jane” in our lives pretty much since birth.  She never made us feel like we were not her own. She loved us and scolded us the same as any grandma would, (like the time she called the cops when I had a party when my parents were out of town).  Whenever mom couldn’t find us, she would always called next door and tell grandma Jane to send us home. I am so lucky to have shared so many memories with her, some of my favorites were our annual Mother’s Day brunches, Christmas morning tamale breakfasts, family gatherings, her chicken and mole (she was a great cook) and just sitting on the porch talking about anything and everything.  She loved to talk about her family and all her girls.  She loved unconditionally!
My heart is broken, but I will always find comfort through the stories we will share and keeping the traditions she established.
Nina, Nece, Bina, Jenni and Christi, thank you SO much for sharing this beautiful soul with me, my sisters and our families!  Her legacy will forever live on in all of you.

My prayers go out to Christine (Choppy) my (Sissy) & the Girls. I was 15 years old when I had my 1st back surgery and was in a body cast. My Tia Jane took care of me all summer it was a blessing. What I miss the most is having Good Friday with my mother (Lillie) and Aunt Jane with my granddaughter’s Frankie & Lillie. Now as she joins her husband (Tony) she is also with her siblings. You will be deeply missed.  We love you Aunt Jane.    Patrice, Frank, Frankie & Lillie.  


Tia Jane was a special and loving person. I express my heartfelt sympathies and prayers to Chris, Genece, Katrina, Jenni and Christi Jo. I will miss our weekly visits and having coffee and just enjoying your company. Tia Jane always ask about my mom and how she was doing. She will be missed. May God wrap his arms around you  and the entire family and give you peace. We love you all.
Aunt Becky and Uncle John

Aunt Jane, was always available for Don and I  so many years ago.  She cared for our first born Nicole and amazed us when she  totally potty trained her at 10 months and within a week, I could not believe it.  Her heart was so big, filled with patience and love for the three of us.  She made us feel like we were part of her family. We spent many weekends with her and she fed us with many delicious meals.  She never made us feel like we were imposing on their family.  She always opened her home to all of us, all you had to do was to knock on their door.  We will always miss you.  The Strada family.

When I first met Juanita she was very nice and good to me. She was kind to everyone she knew. She loved her family and everyone knew it because her eyes would light up and she would smile so big  when she talked about her  husband, daughter, granddaughters and greatgrandkids. When we were working together she made sure I was ok, if I seemed sad or upset or sick she would talk to me and make me feel better. If I didn't bring lunch she would make sure I ate, and she was an amazing cook, I will forever miss her and I will always have the memories we shared together. I will always think of her as a Grandma to me and I will always love her. Rest in Peace


Dear Christine and Family.
       I am so sorry for your loss. I know when my mom passed I felt like I lost my Best friend I know you must feel the same way. When I see your mom I see my mom in her beautiful face especially in her eyes. Our last family reunion your mom expressed how much she missed her sisters, asked me how I was doing I was very happy to sit and talk with her. I well miss her deeply.  Prayers to all of you, Love you.

Tia Jane what a loving and lovely  woman.I'll never forget the smiles on Tia and mom's  faces when they were  together. To Christine and family are prayers  are always  with you.All are love Bobby and Shirley Hernandez.

So many memories of my tia! She was a Beautiful person when I was a child and still is as a adult. She is in heaven with our Lord and family, especially uncle Tony.
