Peart family, I was honored to know John and work with him at Birch Telecom.  He was ornery, smart-as-heck, witty and an exceptional trainer and people leader.  It was a blessing to get to spend some great years with him.

To the Peart Family.........please know that your father was an exceptional man.  A very strong man with a heart that wouldn't stop for those he cared about.  He loved you girls so much - never stopped talking about you at work.  

I wish with all my heart that I could have been there for his funeral to just one more time tell him how much he meant to me.

Rachel and Annie, growing up with you gave me the chance to see how much you loved your dad and what a special family you guys have. I am so impressed with the ways you have been there for him through his illness, and the love you display now as you celebrate his life today and for years to come. I wish I could be with you today, but know that I am thinking of both of you, Teresa, and the rest of your family and sending you my love.

John was one of the most enjoyable people I've ever been around.  What a great sense of humor and a wonderful smile and laugh.  I wish I could be there for his service.  My thoughts are with you.
