John Thomas Beebe, age 92, of Lee's Summit, Missouri passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2022 surrounded by family.
John was born January 7, 1930 in Greenridge, Missouri. Growing up, he lived and worked on family farms helping his grandparents, aunts and uncles. He eventually found himself in Kansas City, Missouri where he met and married the love of his life Patricia. Together, they raised two children. John worked over thirty years at Union Wire Rope/ARMCO Steel before retiring and becoming a school bus driver for the Blue Springs School District.
When John wasn't working, he traveled with his family. He also enjoyed volunteering at his church, always taking on leadership roles where he was needed. He was loved by his family, friends and community.
John is survived by his devoted wife of 72 years, Patricia, and his two children Linda and Tom. He also leaves behind four grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Services will be held November 10th at 10am at the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection in Blue Springs. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the Blue Springs church for the building fund.
