Helen V. Kinerk

Helen V. Kinerk, Overland Park, KS, passed away March 4, 2017 in Overland Park, KS. Services will be Thursday, March 9 at Church of the Nativity, 3800 W. 119th Street, Leawood, KS. Visitation will be from 11-11:30 a.m., the Rosary will be prayed at 11:30 a.m. and Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Kansas City, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Community Hospice of Northeast Kansas or to Ladies of Charity.

Helen was born February 12, 1918 in Kansas City, MO. She grew up in Kansas City but moved to Omaha, NE and lived there for 60 years before returning to Kansas City her last three years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, R. Louis Kinerk. She is survived by: daughter, Bridget (Timothy) Carroll; son, Patrick (Jenny) Kinerk; grandchildren: Patrick Carroll, Ryan Carroll, Molly Carroll, Megan Carroll, Bridget Kinerk Oliva, and Marty Kinerk; and greatgrandhildren: Braiden and Carter Oliva.
