Helen married Jerry Dyvr Hopkins in October 1960, and became mother to two children, Carla Kay Hopkins and Richard Dyvr Hopkins. She was a homemaker and supporter of the Special Olympics. She dedicated her life to the care and support of her special daughter, Carla.
Helen was preceded in death by Jerry D Hopkins(spouse), Carla K Hopkins(Daughter), Opal Jones(Mother), Archie Potter(father), Thelma McLain(sister), Jason and Billy Tarrant(nephews), Candy Bulen(niece), and Art Potter(brother).
She is survived by Rick Hopkins(son), Julie Hopkins(daughter-in-law), Amber Cosper (granddaughter), Derrick Hopkins( great grandson), Madison Gray(great granddaughter), Mary Tarrant(sister), Gearldean Askea (sister), Joyce Cox(sister), Pat Tarrant (brother in law), and Bill Cox(brother in law). She also has 10 nephews and 3 nieces.
