In 1971, Ethel relocated to Kansas City, Missouri, where she became a devoted member of St. Catherine's of Sienna Catholic Church in South Kansas City. After retiring, Ethel enjoyed her time as a receptionist for an advertising and marketing firm, further showcasing her work ethic and dedication.
Ethel’s greatest pride was her family, and she found joy in spending her retirement with her grandchildren. A gifted baker, Ethel often brought joy to others with her sweet treats including her cherry puff tarts and famous chocolate pistachio cake, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met. She was a kind friend, a role model to her children, and a loving grandmother and great-grandmother. Ethel's compassion, generosity, and unwavering faith touched the lives of all who knew her.
