She was born on August 4, 1941 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Charles H. and Annabel Lee (Price) Kurtz. Ellen was the youngest of 12 children and a twin.
Ellen enjoyed her church family at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, and dining out with family and friends. She only worked part-time in retail, just to keep busy. She loved and faithfully kept up on the KC Royals and KC Chiefs. She enjoyed baking and playing on her iPhone.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy Berthold; son, Darrell Terrell and their families, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: Her parents and 11 Siblings, John, George, Howard, James, Robert, Donald, Charles Kurtz, Marian Foster, Eleanor Davis, Audrey Trilling, Helen Moritz.
