Elizabeth Anne Jenkins

She married John R. Farrell and had four beautiful children before divorcing. In 1986, she married Larry Jenkins in Overland Park, Kansas. She enjoyed her job and was a respected land analyst with Panhandle Eastern before retiring after 25 years of service. Betty loved watching sports, such as the Houston Astros, Houston Rockets, and the Kansas City Chiefs. She was a talented person with a knack for decorating homes and cooking. She loved reading and all sorts of puzzles. She was a wicked card and domino player. Betty’s loving nature helped her maintain lifelong friendships with childhood friends, and they relished the time they could spend sharing wine and stories together. She was a family counselor for many of her friends and family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Betty Jenkins passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021, at her home in Katy, at the age of 80.

She is survived by her husband, Larry J. Jenkins; sons, John R. Farrell, Michael P. Farrell, and Christopher D. Farrell; grandchildren, Robert J. Regan, Christina G. Regan, Caroline N. Regan, Sheridan Farrell, Harrison Farrell, Finn Farrell, Lauren Farrell, Jack Farrell, Harry Farrell, and Emma Farrell. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Laura Eileen Farrell Regan.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at the Schmidt Funeral Home Grand Parkway Chapel, in Katy, with Chaplain Daniel Schramm officiating.

A funeral Mass will be held at Redemptorist Catholic Church, 3333 Broadway, Kansas City, Missouri 64111 on Monday November 8, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.
