Edith L. Douglas passed away on August 22, 2012 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, MO at 10:00am. Edith was born in Vergas, Minnesota on June 22, 1915 and moved to Kansas City, MO in 1976. Survived by her son, Thomas H. Marschall; her father, James W. Douglas; a son; an uncle; and a granddaughter, Michelle C. Marschall. Edith’s past-times included sharing stories, telling jokes and reading, Edith was an avid scrap booker. Her favorite things she enjoyed most are lavender flowers, cinnamon rolls, and Captain D’s. She also stayed in daily contact with various church parishioners from Living Grace Fellowship. Graveside services will be held in Grinnell, KS at 2:00pm on Wednesday, August 29, 2012. The Kennedy-Koster Funeral Home will be providing services.
