Douglas "Doug" Earl Looney

Douglas (Doug) Looney, 59, Parkville, MO, passed away February 18, 2022. Visitation is from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM, Wednesday, March 2nd, with funeral service at 1:00 PM, at the McGilley Antioch Chapel. Burial will follow the services in Resurrection Cemetery.

Doug was born October 29, 1962 and was a life-long resident of Kansas City. He was a 1981 graduate of Plattsburg High School. Doug was employed with Chemtech from 1983-2003 and was currently employed with Ingredion. Doug has a great joy for life, enjoying traveling, spending time at the lake, and his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Eugene Looney.

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer of the home in Parkville; 2 daughters, Kathy (Keith) Brookshier, Gallatin, MO, Emily (Bruce) Gipson, Maysville, MO; a step-son, James Cofer, Branson, MO; and stepdaughter, Nicole (Kyle) Dobbe, Olathe, KS; 7 grandsons and 3 granddaughters; his mother, Sue Looney Phillips, Gladstone, MO; sisters and brothers-in-law, Pam and Glen Rodenberg, Claycomo, MO, Nancy and Randy Zimmerman, Plattsburg, MO; and a brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Julie Looney, Plattsburg.
