She was born December 9, 1933 in Kansas City, MO, where she lived most of her life.
Donna graduated from Southeast High School where she enjoyed being a cheerleader cheering on the Scarlet Knights. Following high school, she attended junior college when her creativity took her to work as an artist in the advertising department of a local radio station.
In, 1955 Donna married the love of her life, Don White and went on to have 3 children,
to whom she selfishly chose to devote a lifetime of loving and caring for them. She was also a very loving and devoted grandmother. Once their children were raised, Donna enjoyed working at JoAntiques in the Westport area.
Donna was a longtime member of St. Peter’s Episcopal church where she enjoyed being the Directress of the Altar Guild, a member of the Gardening Angels, and an active participant in their weekly bible study.
She was preceded in death by their daughter, Lynn White; grandson, Collin White; and sister Carol Wolfe.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Don White; sons, Chris (Carol) White of Colorado Springs, CO, and Brent (Paula) White of Lees Summit, MO; sister, Judy Houser of Omaha, NE; granddaughters, Meagan White of Colorado Springs, CO, Amanda (Brendan) Farraher of Oak Ridge, TN, and Hunter White of Prairie Village, KS; Great grandchildren, Riley and Sean Farraher of Oak Ridge, TN; as well as numerous nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved.
A visitation for Donna will be held Friday, February 16th, 2024 at 10:00am at St Peter and All Saints Episcopal Church, 100 East Red Bridge Road, Kansas City, MO 64114. A funeral service will follow at 10:30am. Services will conclude at Mt Moriah Cemetery South, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO 64131
