Donna K. Perkins

Donna K. Perkins, age 70, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2022. Donna was born October 10, 1951 to James and Ethel Baxter in Kansas City, Missouri. She was married November 8, 1997 in Lee’s Summit, Missouri to Rick Perkins, who survives of the home.

Donna was preceded in death by her mother, father and 6 siblings.

She is survived by three daughters Jeanna Moody and husband Craig of Raymore, Amanda Driskill and partner Brian Dawson of Lee’s Summit and Crystal Miller of Rich Hill. Grandchildren Dustin Miller, Bailey Miller and wife Kearston, Brett Moody, Dylan Dawson, Emily Moody, Brenten Dawson, Brock Danuser, Anthony Miller, Hensen Danuser, Dylan Moody and Knox Danuser. Great-grandsons Waylon Miller, Ryker Miller, Oakley Miller and Camden Miller. She is also survived by one sister Faye O’Connell and husband John of Blue Springs and several nieces and nephews.

She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family. She was a woman of strong faith and was kind to everyone she met. Donna was an exceptional woman who enjoyed spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren who brought her the greatest joy in life and whom she loved very much. Donna worked throughout her entire life to become a successful business owner. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and to know her was to love her.

A celebration of life visitation for Donna will be held Tuesday, June 7, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Newcomer’s Floral Hills Funeral Home, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64133. Following visitation will be a celebration of life graveside service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Floral Hills Cemetery, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64133.
