Donna was born in Kansas City, Missouri on December 25, 1934, a true gift from God. She kept busy working and raising her 6 children. Donna retired from Sears after 25 years and even received a perfect attendance certificate. Donna was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles for many years. This was where she met the LOVE of her life Richard Skinner, lovingly known as her “sweetie”. There, they loved playing cards, darts, music, and going to the state and national conventions.
Donna enjoyed traveling all over the United States in their motor home. She enjoyed the ocean, mountains, national parks, and watching her “sweetie” play softball. She was always ready to travel. Her hobbies included bowling, gardening, bird watching, exercising at the Palmer Center, and going to the casinos. Donna loved the casinos, but most of all, she loved her “sweetie”, Richard.
Donna loved her family, she treasured time spent with her grandkids and great-grandkids. She was seen at school and church functions, sporting events, birthday parties, graduations, weddings, or anything else they were involved in. It was amazing that she found the time and energy for everyone. There was never a dull moment at her house, nor a time that she did not have a smile on her face.
Donna is preceded in death by her parents Fred H. and Dorothy M. Dunlap, Brother Fred Dunlap, Sister Geraldine Boyd, and Son Bryan M. Dean.
She is survived by her children: Allan W. Dean, Cynthia M. Eslinger (William), Darrell P. Dean (Maria), Erin K. Vogt (Tony), and Fred Dean (Feli). Her grandchildren: Kelly Shue, Christopher Eslinger, John Dean, Benjamin Dean, Harrison Dean, Hannah Dean, Halley Zitterkopf, Austin Vogt, Jacob Dean, Jessica Vogt, Henry Dean, and Hattie Dean. And her great grandchildren: Samantha Shue, Lillah Shue, Olivia Elsinger, Blakelea Eslinger, Michael Dean, Dewey Dean, and #7 on the way.
We thank everyone who has touched her life in anyway. She was an angel in disguise.
