Colby was born on November 10, 2001 in Springfield, MO. The first-born son of Matthew and Emily (Shackelford) Preston. He was a senior at Lee’s Summit West High School. He had a heart for the Lord, his family, church family, friends, school, and country. He was always building, and creating. Colby didn’t do anything small, his motivation was to always do his best. He lived life in the mission field with a huge giving, and servants heart. He was active in his church, community, and school. Active within art, shop, and barbecuing; lettering, winning, and placing in numerous competitions. He loved hunting, fishing, and spending time in nature. He took much pride in flying his flags with his friends, and believed fireworks were the key to making any celebration better. His infectious smile and zest for life will be truly missed by all those who were blessed enough to cross his path. He is survived by; his parents: Matthew and Emily Preston of Lake Winnebago, brother: Camden and sister: Cooper both at home. Paternal grandparents: Daniel & Patricia Preston of Branson, MO., Maternal grandmother: Janine Shackelford of Ava, MO., great grandmothers Vinita Sims, Janie Preston and Robbie King.
