Clarence “Steve” Rose, 90, of Kansas City, MO passed away January 10, 2017. Funeral service 10am Saturday, Jan. 14th at the McGilley & Sheil Chapel with visitation one hour prior. Burial following in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Steve was born December 30, 1926 in Clarence, MO to Clarence and Mary (Riley) Rose. He served in the Army during WWII. Steve’s early career was with the Milwaukee Railroad for 25 years and then started his own business, Steve’s Electric in 1960. He was a devoted Catholic, a member of the VFW and the Eagles Club. Steve enjoyed traveling. He was very proud of his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Steve is survived by his wife of 66 years, Mary Ellen; sons, Craig Rose (Cindy) and Alan Rose (Anne); a daughter, Susan Nickell (Steve); 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
