Christopher "Chris" Ellison

Chris was born the son of James H Ellison, Sr, and Mae Louise (Foust) Ellison on May 16, 1957. He was a 1976 graduate of Chillicothe High School in Chillicothe, Missouri.

Chris worked as an auto mechanic at Gladstone Dodge in Gladstone, Missouri for many years. Chris enjoyed being around his family and especially his daughter, Olivia.

Survivors include one daughter, Olivia Ellison of Salt Lake City, Utah; two brothers, Thomas Ellison of Kansas City, Missouri, and Patrick Ellison and wife Cathy of Republic, Missouri; two sisters, Judee Carr of Lawson, Missouri, and Margie Albertson and husband Dennis Jr, of Chillicothe, Missouri; one brother-in-law, Steve Gastineau of Pilot Point, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, James H Ellison Jr and Michael S Ellison; one sister, Jean Gastineau; one niece, Laura Carr; and one great niece, Elizabeth Henson.

Funeral and Rosary services will be held at McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 NE Vivion Rd, Kansas City, Missouri, on Friday, December 13, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at McGilley Antioch Chapel, on December 13, 2024, one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m until 11:00 a.m.

A graveside service will be held at St. Columban Catholic Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, December 13, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to First Call and may be left at or mailed to McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 NE Vivion, Kansas City, MO 64119.
