Caroline Johanna Trupp

Caroline was born in Overland Park, KS on May 20, 1998. She graduated from Blue Valley Northwest High School in 2016 and went on to earn undergraduate degrees in Biochemistry and Math from the University of Nebraska where she was a member of the Alpha Phi sorority.

Caroline was a 2nd year student at KU Medical School and was working diligently to fulfil her life-long dream of becoming a doctor and healer. Caroline was an active part of the KU Medical School community, serving on numerous leadership committees and volunteer teams.

Caroline was a vibrant, magnetic, enchanting, loving, radiant, kind, loyal, and giving young woman who touched all who she met. She is a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, cousin, and friend.

Our hearts are completely shattered by her unexpected passing, but we take comfort knowing that she is in the arms of her heavenly father, joyfully reuniting with loved ones and her puppies Buckley and Winston.

Caroline’s life will be celebrated on Saturday, July 22 at 11:00 AM at The United Methodist Church of the Resurrection, 13720 Roe Ave, Leawood KS 66224. A reception and time to greet Caroline’s family will immediately follow. Caroline will be laid to rest in the Memorial Garden at Resurrection.

Memorial contributions in memory of Caroline may be given to the JayDoc Free Clinic at KU Medical Center. Caroline regularly volunteered at the clinic as a student physician and believed strongly in its vision of serving the under-resourced and under-insured in our community. Caroline is survived by her parents, Lori and Correy Trupp; her brother Aaron Trupp, sister Elizabeth Worrad and her husband Drew Worrad; maternal grandparents Jim and Barb Berg; paternal grandparents Greg and Susie Trupp; aunts and uncles Kristy and Frank Feden, Amy and Rich Behnke, and Halle and Paul Blecha; cousins Abby, Lauren, and Annie Feden, Jacob and Olivia Behnke, and Colin, Sam, and Morgan Blecha; and her beloved boyfriend Seth Moyer.

Caroline was a petite woman with a gigantic personality. She lived each day to the fullest and made an enormous impact during her much too short journey on this earth. Caroline, we love you and will miss you terribly.
